Homework Week of 09/30- 10/04

Monday 09/30: Introduction to Inquiry Research Paper (Library Lab-Presentation of Databases)

1. Update Noodletools account and Google Docs
2. Choose 2 topics from list to begin research

Tuesday 10/01: (Library Lab)

1. Via Noodletools share project with my dropbox (Sundberg- Research Period #) in drop down menu
2. Begin researching articles on databases
3. Find ( 4 ) articles total ( 2 articles per topic )
4. Print and sava articles on Google Docs (BOTH)

Wednesday 10/02: (Library Lab)

1. Organize source materials in a research binder/folder
2. Input all ( 4 ) articles in Noodletools (Bibliography)

Thursday 10/03: Close Reading

1. Read "People Like War" article and complete a close reading (chunking, make inferences, detemine importance, underline imagery, summary points (left margin), analysis/questions (right margin).
2. Complete the Questioning Texts worksheet (in packet)
3. Complete the Analyzing Texts worksheet (in packet)

Friday 10/04: Close Reading

1. Read "Letters from Vietnam" article and complete a close reading (chunking, make inferences, determine importance, underline imagery, summary points (left margin), analysis/questions (right margin).
2. Complete the Questioning Texts worksheet (in packet)
3. Complete the Analyzing Texts worksheet (in packet)
