The items i would need for survival would be water, food. I feel i wouldn't make it on a stranded island without a person i love otherwise i would be really afraid and go insane. I could also use some tools and a knife. An advantage i have is that i go hiking and camp a lot in the woods with my family, so i know how to get around.
The items I would need would be water, food, a blanket and a knife. I would be afraid of other people on the island (tribes) and dangerous animals or bugs. So i would have to decide where i should sleep and live for the time. Also, how and where to get food.
Some items i would need are food, water, shelter, and tools, like a knife. Some problems would be that i would need to find a way to get food and protect myself from anyone or anything that might be on the island. I would have to figure out ways to survive and what i could do to maybe get rescued.

The promblems I would face would not knowing where I was, and where the water and food was. Some items I would need where food, water and shelter
The problem I would face would be no food and no fresh water to drink. I would need some kind of shelter, such as a tent and some way to make a fire. I would have to decide how to seek rescue or if I would try live there for the rest of my life. Common sence would be my only advantage.
-Alex Varone
i would face the problems of no food or good water. having no care for anything that might happen to me.some things i would need would be water, food, clothes and a knife. An advantage to my situation would have to be i camp sometimes and like nature so i could most likely figure some things out about the place.

If i were stranded on an island the problems i would face would be no food, water or shelter. The items i would bring for survival would be, something to make shelter with, food, water and a knife to protect myself with.
- justin distler
Problems that i would face would be the weather and not haveing much shelter and not having enough food and water. some things i would need for surfival would be. a pocketknife(for protection and to catch food) i would also need some sort of rope to tie branches together for shelter.
Eric Zuckerman
Problems I would face if I was stranded on a desert island would be, no water and food, no shelter, and no communication to the outside world. Some thing I would need for surviving on the island would be a hunting knife, matches, and some sort of shelter. One advantage I have is that I have been camping a lot and know some survival tips.
The problems i would face would be I would have a lack of food I would have to make sure i wouldn't injure my self because if i did I could get my injury infected. The tool i would need for survival would be a machete, a flint, rope and a fishing net. The descions i would need to make would be what food is poisonous and what isnt and where to sleep.
joe kubicsko
A problem that i would run into is that i have no idea where so i wouldnt know where to find resources. Items i would bring would be a knife, flint, rope and a medical kit. I would have tp decide where i would build my shelter. There really are no real advantages i guess.

I would need
1. gun
2.matches
3. water bottle
4. rope
5. clothes
Some problems would be not enough food, no where to sleep, and having no idea where I am. An advantage I may have is being able to walk for a while.
If i was marooned on a desert island, some problems i would face would be finding food and water, making a shelter, and trying to find a way home. Some items i would need for survival are a mirror (to make a fire), a knife (to get food), a first aid kid, a blanket (for warmth), a flashlight, and a bucket (to fill up with water and light under a fire to make fresh drinking water). Some decisions i would have to make are if i should trust the rescue that comes, if i should eat certain foods and if i should walk around the island alone. Some advantages to my situation would be that i would become smarter, more responsible and stronger.
Some problems I would face are finding fresh water, finding food and keeping warm. Some items i would need would be a knife, lighter, flares for getting attention, clothes, fishing pole, and paper for maps and to write on. Some decisions i would have to make are if i should trust the help that comes, how to get food, and if i should drink the water that i find. Some advantages that i would face are getting stronger, smarter and being more confident in scary situations.
If i was stuck on an island, i would try and find pure water and good food. If i needed some materials to bring with me if i was stuck on an island, i would bring; 1.matches(for fire) 2.a cell phone 3. a med ket 4. a knife
The problems i would be faceing is where to find food and how i can be rescued
Peter Korcz
Some problems I might face are making a shelter, finding food and water and not knowing what types of animals live there. To survive I would need a knife, a gun, ammo and a fishing rod. An advantage I have is that I go camping a lot with my family and friends and am good at surviving on my own.
On a desert island I would face the problems of lack of food, water and the basic essentinals of living. I would need a knife, rope, matches, a pot and a blanket. I would need to decide what things i should eat, where to make my shelter and how to ultimatly get off the island. It would be an advantage to be there alone, i guess, because i would only have to look after myself and not worry about anybody elses well-being.
Some problems i would face if i was marooned on an island would be lack of food, water and other essentials needed to survive. I would need to decide where to put up shelter, and where i could find something edible to eat. I would need some kind of sharp tool, like a knife, and a pot, to help boil water to get rid of bacteria. One advantage would be that I go camping with my friends so i will have an idea on what to do.

Problems I would face on a desert island would include lack of food, water, shelter, contact with people, and medical care. For survival i would like to have a multi-tool,a flint for fires, a first aid kit, and a rifle for hunting and possibly protection. I would need to make decisions such as where to find food and water, how to construct a shelter, and how to go about finding rescue. I honestly would not find being stuck on an island advantagious at all. -Brian Martinico
The problems i would face would be lack of heat or air, not enough food, finding/building shelter and difficulties in getting food or water. The items i would need for survival would be food, water and a knife. It would also help if i had another person with me to help me and keep me company. An advantage is that i know how to use my natural resources well and i took a 3 day course on survival.
Some problems I would face might be finding no food or having no water or shelter. I would also be scared all by myself on an island. I would have to decide where and how I am going to live. I would probably try to make shelter otu of any branches from trees. Soem items that would be important would be maybe matches for lighting a fire and maybe a pot so I could boil water in it. Also I would want to bring a knife to defend myself just in case. Some advantages from this situation would be that I could become more independant because I would know how to survive on my own.

The decisions I would have to make are which foods i should eat because some might be poisonous and where i should sleep. The only advantage to my situation is it would make me more independent and responsible.
-Christina Cluxton
The problems I would face would be not having any food or water. I don't have any great suvival skills to be stranded on an island alone. I would deffinately want to have someone with me. That would help to comfort me. An advantage I have is that I've been camping and hiking before so I know the basics if I'm ever alone on an island.
problems that i would face would be not having what i would need to survive and i would have to be careful so i dont get injure my self because i would need to do things every day to survive
1.gun
2.rope
3.tent
4.first aid kit
5.knife
problems: injury, unable to find food, getting lost, going mentally insane
items: some sort of net, hunting knife, emergency medical kit, rope or rope like material
decisions: where to hunt and make shelter
i would have no advantages
(by Sammy Buzby)
If i was marooned on a desert island, some problems I would face would be not having a warm place to sleep, no fresh water and lack of food. Some of the things I would bring would be, a knife, matches, water bottels, band aids,a cell phone, a blanker and a friend. If I had things to catch food and to make a fire I could probably survive. I would need to bring a friend because I would get pretty bored and scared.
-Jillian Haufsk period 4
1. If I were deserted on an island I would face many problems. First of all, I would need to find the food and water source. It would also be hard to find a “leader” who could protect us from anyone or anything that may be on the island.
2. I would definitely need water, food, a knife, a mirror to start a fire and a blanket for when it got really cold at night.
3. I would have to decide where I should live and sleep on the island. I would also decide how I could possibly get rescued.
4. I think that I would have an advantage because I have gone camping and have been able to survive.
- Samantha Cardillo
Well, I'd have to find my own food and water, which is hard because I'm used to having these things available to me.
Like I mentioned in class, I would like to have a pocket knife to kill animals and cut stuff that I needed, a lighter to light a fire because I am not using the caveman method, sneakers for walking around, some on-perishable food like beef jerky just in case and a water filter because we as humans can't drink salt water. I would also add a tent and some rope just in case the palm trees on the island don't suffice.
I would have to decide how I have to survive, how to use items any differently than what it's meant for. I would have to make decisions for myself, like if it's even worth it to wash my clothes.
Some advantages would be that I would become more independent and I would be healthier for having to walk around and hunt for my food.

There would be many problems I would face if I was stuck on an island. I would have to find some shelter in a cave or I would have to make shelter. If I got hurt the cut might get infected. I would also have to find a water source. I would have to hunt for food. The items I would bring would be a hunting knife, a tent, a flint, and a first-aid kit. I would have to decide how I will get off the island. I will have to know what I will do if I see a plane or boat. One advantage I would have is that I'm in good shape. Also I watch a lot of Man vs. Wild so I know some survival techniques.
Well if i was deserted on a island hopefully not by myself i think i would face a few problems. Probably just the lack of shelter, fresh water, and medical supplies incase something happens.
The items i would need to survive would have to be
a box of matches, a knife, net, some kind of a blanket
and water. Really you can go looking for food or hunt it yourself and you really only need water to hydrate yourself. The only advantage i would really have is that i go camping so i know what its like to live outdoors and also just common knowledge.

If I was stuck on a deserted island, I would face problems such as finding food and fresh water, making a good shelter, and staying alive until I was rescued. I would need things like food, water, a knife, matches, and a first-aid kit to survive. I would have to decide where to sleep, what to eat, and when and where I should go to hunt for food. The only advantage to the situation would be the survival skills I would learn while being on the island.
If i were to be lost on a desert island my main worries would be having the basic necessities to stay alive. I would need to find a clean, fresh supply of water and a reliable food source. I would try to make a shelter for myself as well. Since I would have to be really desperate to resort to killing an animal for food, I would try to live off of fruit. The few advantages that I may have in this situation are that as long as the island is beautiful and warm, I could stay relaxed and get a nice tan.
The problems I would probably face are diseases and infections. Also the lack of food I am going to have on the island and how lonely I would be. Some items I would need on the island are water suits, bathing suits, water shoes, rope, knife, first aid kit, water bottle, and a tent. I would have to decide where to put my campsite, where should I search for resources, and how I would get fresh food and water. The advantages I have are camping experience, how to fish, start a fire, and how to cook.
One problem I would face is finding food, because I could never kill and animal and I don't know how much I want to eat plants. It would also suck if i didn't have clean water, but as long as theres water I think I can deal. Some things I would bring are my cell phone (just in case there is any service), a knife, my Ipod, a water purifier, matches, a book just to read, a survival book, a tent, band aids, and clothes. I don't know how many of those I would actually happen to have if I was stranded, but it would be nice if had them. I would have to decide where to sleep safely and I would need to make a lot of decisions on what to do for the time being, like where to go and what actions to make. An advantage I have is that I like adventures and the outdoors.
If I was lost on a desert island I would face many problems. I would need a nearby clean water supply, food and shelter. I would need flint, steel, water, a knife, a mirror, a portable tent and some first aid supplies. I would have to make the decision of whether to look for help or not. I would also have to consider suicide because if I am stranded it doesn't seem like an ideal situation for the rest of my life. There are very very few advantages to being stranded on a desert island. Next to having no responsibilities or parents I would have no friends, no social life and no chance at being a normal person.
Some of the problems I might face while marooned on an island would be a lack of water and food, a need of some kind of shelter, and something to do in orde to avoid going insane. The tools I would need would be a knife, a daiary, a writing utensil, some cooking materials, and some kind of axe in order to chop wood for a fire and to help with shelter. Some of the advantages I would have would be that I am very intelligent and I would be able to use my environment to suit my needs
Some problems I would face if I was marooned on a desert island would be finding food and water to survive as well as shelter. Some items I would need for survival would be a knife, matches, first aid, water and food. Some decisions I would have to make would be where to build my shelter and where to find food and water and most of all how to get rescued. Some advantages are that everything is up to me and I don't have to listen to anyone else if I don't agree on terms of survival.
If i were marooned on a desert island, some problems i would face would be determining how and where to make my shelter, and finding food and fresh water. Some items i would need for survival are a knife to hunt for food, mirror to start a fire, a first aid kid to help heel cuts or wounds, a blanket to keep warm at night if it is cold out. A decision i would have to make is if i should eat certain foods because they may be poisons. Some advantages that would become of this situation are that i would be more resourceful and smarter.

Glenn Garvey
Some problems i would face is where to find food, where can i get clean water, where will i sleep. Some items i would bring is food, water, a medical kit, cothes. I dont think there would be any advantages and decisions i would have to make is what to eat, where to sleep and how to get food.
I would like to bring food so I could eat and not be hungry and water so I won't be thirsty. Also I would like to bring a gun because the person who has a gun would be the leader because everyone else would live in fear of that person. Another thing I would like to bring is a sword so I would be able to use it to cut things needed such as rope which I'll also bring. With rope I can build many things including shelter. The fears that I would have on the island are running out of food and water because then I would die. Some advantages from being on the island are learning how to be a brave soldier.
Dan Dragunat-Problems i would face on a dessert island are i would become dehydrated very quickly, because i am on a dessert, and i would have have a rough time finding food.
The items i might need are a flint, a knife, a solar flash light, and a boiling pot. I would have to decide what i would do first make shelter or explore for food and water. There are absolutly no advantages to being stranded on an island.
the problems i would face would be having not enough food or water. I don't think i would be about to find fresh water and enough food to survive. Also getting hurt and or sick , not having anything to treat my self with. i would bring with me water, a weapon to not only protect my self but also to help make me shelter. ( knife ) something to keep me warm and some food. matches to make a fire. i would have to decide a safe and good way to try and get someone to rescue me. one advantage is that i don't have a problem being outside .
I would need water, food, a weapon, rope, a first-aid kit, a blanket, bug spray, and music. I would have a problem with my allergies because they are really bad environmental allergies [I'm allergic to grass and trees along with many other things]. My advantage is that I like to be independent and sometimes really like it to get away from people that drive me insane.
-Kelsey McGarrigal
The problems I would face is getting food, keeping safe, and keeping healthy. I would need a knife, shelter, food, and water. Some problems i would face is keeping safe. I would have to find food on my own and and try to keep myself safe. I wouldn't be able to depend on anyone but myself.
The problems i would face are definitely be no fresh water and depending on the amount of animals on the island would be food. The items i would need for survival would be a knife one of those like water purifying things, a gun, and a flare gun or a mirror. I wouldnt have an advantage except maybe im a good swimmer.
If I was stranded on a desert island, I would have some problems to face. I would have to worry about where to find water to drink, how I should get food to eat, how to stop wounds I receive while on the island, and how to stay dry in storms. I would have to try to make signs signaling boats to rescue me. I would need a knife to cut up food and build a shelter. I would need a lighter, in order to light fires. I would need a cooking pot in order to boil water. I would need a fishing rod in order to catch fish. And finally, I would need a guide book that could tell me which plants are edible, and which are not. Decisions I would have to make would be where to build my shelter and how to protect myself from predators. An advantage of the situation would be that I could relax and be lazy rather than having the busy schedule I do now.
Scott Timmel
James Dodd
1. One problem that I would face is that I would not now how to get any food.
2. I would need my cell phone to call for help. My iPod to keep me busy. A knife to cut different things.
3. I would have to make a descion about weather or not to stay on the island on leave.
4. One advantage would be that I would be alone for a while.
If you were marooned on a desert island, what problems would you face? What items would you need for survival? What decisions would you have to make? Would there be any advantages to your situation?
On a desert Island, problems I would face would be injuries, food, water, and shelter. For survival, I'd bring food, water, creams for cuts, and a tent. I would have to decide where to put my tent up and how to keep living everyday. I don't believe there'd be any advantages to my situation.
Travis Thornton
Period 6
The problems i would face would not being able to see my friends, not having fresh water, and not being able to eat what I wanted when I wanted. If I could only bring five items I would bring a nife, flint to make fires and shapen,a guitar for entertainment, a waterfillter, and pictures of my close friends.
kevin hock:
i would have a lack of food and water. i would need
1. knife hatchet etc
2. h2o2 for infections
3. dry wood
i wouldnt really have an advantage.
hey
the problems i would face are lack of water and food.
i would need
1. hunting knife
2. food
3.shelter
Some problems that i would face is that i am a leader and having others trying to take my spot would most likely cause me to rage. Also with injuries, i wouuld not know to wat do.
Items i would take with me are:
A friend
A 34 calliber for hunting
A brita for water supply
and blankets
One advantage that would help me is that im not a girly girl. I love to be outside and i know alot of nature.
i would be faced with problems like not not having shelter, no food and water, getting hurt. i would take a flint, a field knife, a salt water purifier that makes salt water turn into fresh water
If i was stranded on an island i would probably need is water, food, someone to keep me company and a knife.
The rpoblems i would face would be not alot of food and no fresh water.
OKay this is the second time im doing this but the first time didnt work and now im mad. I would lack shelter, fresh water, the preotein and nutirents me body needs to survive and entertainment, skateboarding and music. I would bring deoderant, toothbursh, scossors to cut hair and a knife, and extra boxers. I would have an advantage cuz im nuts and i wouldnt mind being stranded.
